Top Ten Book Characters As Cupcake Flavors

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish.

Top Ten Book Characters As Cupcake Flavors

1. Jase Winstead (Be With Me by J. Lynn) Chocolate Peanut Butter - chocolate cake topped with peanut butter frosting. Jase is tall, dark and seductive, just like chocolate cake. His smooth moves and sweet offerings help to balance out his occasional saltiness. A combination Tess finds hard to resist. (J. Lynn too, apparently. This one is her favorite.)

2. Teresa Hamilton (Be With Me by J. Lynn) Vanilla Strawberry - vanilla cake topped with strawberry buttercream frosting. Tess, like vanilla cake, is a classic. What you see is what you get. She's dependable but don't let her sweetness fool you. She has a refreshing side too, one that can be a little tart at times, but it's exactly what Jase needs.

3. Cam Hamilton (Wait For You by J. Lynn)  Turtle Cupcake - chocolate cake, topped with chocolate buttercream frosting, drizzled caramel and a turtle candy. Tall, dark and so very tempting, Cam appears to be like every other handsome face with six-pack abs. However, there is more to him than meets the eye. At his core is a blend of crunchy softness that's as sweet as his big brotherly ways. And his cookies.

4. Avery Morgansten (Wait For You by J. Lynn)  Lemon Blueberry - lemon cake topped with blueberry buttercream frosting. Avery can seem a bit tangy at first, but her boldness lends itself to a sweeter side. One that reveals a quiet strength and support for Tess.

5. Dante Walker (The Collector by Victoria Scott) Twix Cupcake - chocolate cake, with a graham cracker base, caramel filling and chocolate buttercream frosting. From the outside he looks like any other confectionery perfection, I mean, did you see those red kicks he's rockin'? But one bite reveals quite a few surprises. Dante's got a rich, multi-layered flavor that is to.die.for, yanno, if he wasn't already a goner. *shrugs* His snarkiliciousness can be a tad crunchy at times, much like the graham cracker that tends to float to the top during baking, but his heart is made of melted goodness that closely resembles the homemade caramel filling. I know what you're thinking - the caramel kinda tastes like liquid sin and, yeah, it does. But it isn't all bad, and neither is Dante.

6. Charlie Cooper (The Liberator by Victoria Scott) Rainbow Funfetti - Vanilla cake with rainbow chips stirred in by hand. At first glance, her vanilla exterior may look as if she's made of "lame". But it isn't long before all that beautiful color hiding inside comes bursting out like, *POW*!

7. Lincoln (Entice by Jessica Shirvington) Vanilla Caramel with Green sprinkles. - Vanilla cake, caramel filling, buttercream frosting and green sprinkles. Not only is vanilla light and sweet, this one has a warm caramel filling. (Yumm-il-licious!) Vanilla is a staple in almost every cupcake recipe (frosting too), making it dependable. What you see is what you get. The caramel filling is the only surprise and it's pretty hard to resist, especially when it makes you feel all warm and gooey inside. The snow white buttercream frosting is a great choice to help balance out all those delicious flavors and the sprinkles?  Well, they help to remind you of eyes that shine whenever you're near

8. Phoenix (Emblaze by Jessica Shirvington)  Chocolate Cherry. - Chocolate cake, cherry filling and chocolate buttercream frosting. Chocolate is dark and seductive; it whispers our name and we try to ignore it, but it's so very tempting! However, once we bite into this cupcake, we realize there's more to it than we thought and it's quite bitter inside. But, like the chocoholics that we are, we will justify our decision, telling ourselves, "This time it will be different. It won't be as sour or I'll just stick to the frosting". You can definitely enjoy this one but ingesting too many could have long term effects. (Like heartburn)

9. Kaidan Rowe (The Sweet Triology by Wendy Higgins) Dark Chocolate Duo. - Dark chocolate cake with dark chocolate frosting. Kaidan Rowe is the son of Lust and what better way to get in touch with our dark side, than to lust after some dark chocolate cake. But dark chocolate isn't all bad, just like Kaidan, it's actually good for your heart. Just like Kaidan.

10. Conrad Fisher (The Summer Series by Jenny Han) Grape Fanta Cupcakes - Grape Fanta cupcakes with vanilla buttercream frosting. WE LOVE YOU CONRAD, OH YES WE DO! Conrad Fisher is tall, dark and a little bit surly, just like a Grape Fanta that's been shaken up. But mix him together with something familiar like Cousin's beach or vanilla frosting and summer looks a whole lot better.
