Authors Are Rockstars Tour: Myra McEntire

Welcome to Jenuine Cupcakes! When I found out I would be hosting Myra McEntire,  I had my own little dance party... I threw my hands in the air. Did a little box step. And then I checked myself before I wrecked myself.   Three Reasons Myra McEntire is a Rock Star: 1) She's written a fantastic time travel trilogy - Hourglass, Timepiece and Infinityglass - with swoony boys and lots of kissing. Obviously, she has her prioriteis straight.   2) She's easily relateable, openly sharing about her battle with depression.    3) If you stalk follow her anywhere on the interwebs, then you know that's she's entertaining.  4) Kaleb (I know I said, "three", but I do what I want.)   I've yet to meet Myra in person, but it will happen one day (*crosses fingers*) and when it does, there will be much fangirling on my part!     Myra McEntire knows the words to every R&B hit of the last decade, but...

Timepiece (Hourglass #2) by Myra McEntire

Author: Myra McEntire   Publication: June 12, 2012 By: EgmontUSA LOVED.IT.SO.HARD./A MUST READ! "I'm a bad ass. A bad ass who bakes when he's depressed." Kaleb Ballard   LOVE THE COVER!!! Thank you Netgalley and Egmont for Kaleb!  It was like Christmas in April! I've been trying to put into words exactly how I feel about this book and honestly, to say, "I LOVED it" just doesn't seem like enough. This has been one of my MOST ANTICIPATED reads of 2012 and when I found out it would be told from Kaleb's POV? I wasn't sure my heart would be able to take it. That snarky, bad boy from The Hourglass who bakes when he's depressed had me before he finished tying the strings on his apron that says, "Kiss The Cook"! *fans face*     Timepiece picks up where Hourglass left off with the evil Jack Landers on the run and taking people's memories with him when goes. Michael and Em are still lighting ...
Hey, thanks for by stopping by this leg of the tour!  *hands you a cupcake* When the fantabulous, M.G. Buehrlen over at the YABC sent out her idea about showing authors some love, I was all over that. (like sprinkles on a cupcake) When she suggested Myra McEntire as the first one I was SO.VERY.EXCITED!  Normally, my way of showing appreciation for someone is to bake them cupcakes and I have been known to mail them on occasion but that doesn't always end well, as M.G. and C.J. Redwine discovered. *sad face* Anyway, Myra McEntire, I *hearts* you!  I think you are DA BOMB, The Sha-zam, The MacDaddy, The DaddyMac, ALL THE THINGS that are *IT*!  I tried to think of a way to make you smile and well, I hope this does the trick... A poem for Myra.   (BTW, please don't hate on it. There is a reason I'm not a writer. Also, I really wanted this to be a rap but again, there's a reason my rap career never got off the ground.)  *clears throat...
