Guest Post/Author Interview with Jillian Dodd What do you think makes a good story?  I’ve been an avid reader. Books have always been an amazing way to escape my life and live someone else’s for a little while. For me, if I fall in love with the characters and invest in them emotionally, it’s a good book. What was different while writing STALK ME as compared to other books you’ve written? Challenges?  Because Stalk Me is the first of a six book series, there was a huge amount of planning that went on prior to the first book’s release. My books tend to be character driven and this series has a lot of characters. Each character got their own character profile, their own character arc. I also did a ton of research for this series. My notes and research on real life stalking cases, sociopaths, personal security firms, and boarding schools could fill a book of their own. I traveled to Malibu for more research. I tried to live out a day in Keatyn’s life. I shopped

Over the next year, Allyson embarks on a journey to come to terms with the narrow confines of her life, and through Shakespeare, travel, and a quest for her almost-true-love, to break free of th

Thanks for stopping by Jenuine Cupcakes!  I'm excited to be a part of the Once Upon a Second Chance Blog Tour and I'm really looking forward to reading it . Check out the excerpt below, add it to your goodreads shelf and don't forget to enter the giveaway! Excerpt : Group memos like this one find their way into my inbox almost every day and are typically filled with nothing more than boring office news. An announcement about Sally-so-and-so’s upcoming retirement, or a notice about Joe-shmoe’s birthday next week. Nothing unusual or earth shattering. This particular memo started out that way, nothing worth panicking over. That is, until I arrived at the second paragraph and came to the two little words that currently have me in a choke hold. Two. Little. Words. Nicholas Kerkley. Okay — dream or hallucination? If I’m expected to live until the end of this e-mail, it has to be one of the two. A dream is easy enough to check, right?
