All you fans of "The Iron Fey" series will want to check out this Valentine's Day Exclusive!  Warning : It does take place after "The Iron Knight" so it might be a little spoilery but it's soooo worth reading.  I loved it SO.HARD.  It's Cupcake Boy after all! ;D *sighs* (Don't be mad Ash, you know I *hearts* you! Look who showed up at my door today...  "Cupcake Boy" um, I mean Ash!  I was so excited when I opened the door and saw the mail lady coming but almost had a heart attack when I saw the way she just threw him to the ground.  Did she not KNOW she was handling a prized possession?!  (OK, so, she probably didn't.)  I know Ash is used to battle and all but I'm not!  Geesh!  I thought I might have to lob a cupcake at her or something.  Once I got him safely inside, unwrapped and saw that he hadn't suffered any injuries,  I celebrated his arrival with a chocolate chip cookie dough cupcake.  I then proceeded to show him off to any member of my family that would stand still for more than 5 seconds.  They nodded and smiled and Ash just stared back at them.  (I wasn't too surprised, I mean, staring IS his specialty.)  When my husband got home, I introduced him to Ash, but again, more staring, although I think it was more my husb...

Julie Kagawa, the amazing, incredible, author of "The Iron Knight" is holding a contest for a signed ARC of the final book in the series and the rules are simple, tell what you (me) would do if you could spend one day with either Ash or Puck and keep it G-rated.  (As much fun as Puck is, I'd be afraid of the mess I'd be left to clean up after he left.)   Considering Ash had my vote at his first icy stare, I have to go with him.   My one day with Ash = Ice Prince + Queen of Icing = Day made in Cupcake Fey Heaven! :D Our day would begin with a staring contest.  Why? I've just read through the entire "Iron Fey" series in the past few days (all 4 books, including the 2 novellas) and this is my favorite!  If I thought I was "Team Ash" before, "The Iron Knight" solidified it for me.  Thanks to Netgalley for this ARC!  Author Julie Kagawa does NOT disappoint with this book dedicated solely to everyone's favorite Ice-boy, the Winter Prince Ashallyn'darkmyr Tallyn.  (I'm not usually a fan of winter but I could definitely get used to it.)
