Hooked by Liz Fichera

Author: Liz Fichera Publication: January 31, 2013 By: Harlequin Teen 4 Stars *schmexy cover* Get hooked on a girl named Fred... HE said: Fred Oday is a girl? Why is a girl taking my best friends spot on the boy's varsity golf team? SHE said: Can I seriously do this? Can I join the boys' team? Everyone will hate me - especially Ryan Berenger. HE said: Coach expects me to partner with Fred on the green? That is crazy bad. Fred's got to go - especially now that I can't get her out of my head. So not happening. SHE said: Ryan can be nice, when he's not being a jerk. Like the time he carried my golf bag. But the girl from the rez and the spoiled rich boy from the suburbs? So not happening. But there's no denying that things are happening as the girl with the killer swing takes on the boy with the killer smile... Thank you Netgalley and Harlequin Teen for this ARC.  When I saw the summary for this book, I was totally expecting it to be lig

Of Triton (Of Poseidon #2) by Anna Banks Publication: May 28, 2013 By:  Feiwel & Friends  *stares a t the sparkly cover*     From Goodreads: In this sequel to OF POSEIDON, Emma has just learned that her mother is a long-lost Poseidon princess, and now struggles with an identity crisis: As a Half-Breed, she’s a freak in the human world and an abomination in the Syrena realm below. Syrena law states that all Half- Breeds should be put to death. As if that’s not bad enough, her mother’s reappearance among the Syrena turns the two kingdoms—Poseidon and Triton—against one another. Of Poseidon (Of Poseidon #1) by Anna Banks

Author: Anna Banks Publication: May 22, 2012 By: Feiwel & Friends 5 Stars! Beautiful cover! Galen is the prince of the Syrena, sent to land to find a girl he's heard can communicate with fish. Emma is on vacation at the beach. When she runs into Galen — literally, ouch! — both teens sense a connection. But it will take several encounters, including a deadly one with a shark, for Galen to be convinced of Emma's gifts. Now, if he can only convince Emma that she holds the key to his kingdom . . . Told from both Emma and Galen's points of view, here is a fish-out-of-water story that sparkles with intrigue, humor, and waves of romance. I don't know WHY no one told me about this book sooner?!  I'll be the first to admit that I'm not a huge mythology fan HOWEVER, I'm SO VERY GLAD I read this book!  It's got action, adventure, humor and romance.   I mean, I barely made it to page 3 before I was laughing out loud, on a plane bound for Flor
