4 Stars!

The romantic story of a girl who gets plucked from obscurity to star in the next major feature film franchise based on a book and the ensuing love triangles she gets entangled in on—-and off screen.

Meet Paige Townsen, Rainer Devon, and Jordan Wilder…

When Paige Townsen, a young unknown, gets cast in the movie adaptation of a blockbuster book series, her life changes practically overnight. Within a month, Paige has traded the quiet streets of her hometown for a crowded movie set on the shores of Maui, and is spending quality time with her co-star Rainer Devon, one of People’s Sexiest Men Alive. But when troubled star Jordan Wilder lands the role of the other point in the movie’s famous love triangle, Paige’s crazy new life gets even crazier.

In this coming-of-age romance inspired by the kind of celeb hookups that get clever nicknames and a million page views, Paige must figure out who she is – and who she wants – while the whole world watches.

FAMOUS IN LOVE was one of a handful of amazing titles pitched during the brunch Little Brown put on during BEA14, and I'll admit, after seeing the cover and hearing what the story was about, I was hooked.

Why?

It's like a backstage pass into every YA fandom EVER! Seriously, if you've ever followed the ins and outs of your favorite Love Trio from a T.V. show or movie franchise, wondered if they're really together or if they're merely playing up to the cameras, this is the book for you!

FAMOUS IN LOVE was my first Rebecca Serle, and I only intended to skim a few pages (it wasn't next in line on my To Be Reviewed shelf) but once I started reading, I couldn't put it down. Having been sucked right in to Paige's story, (which is actually a story within a story*) I was completely invested in the happenings of her life both on and off the LOCKED set. And like Paige, I had already decided who she should end up with and was preparing for an ending that was sure to be full of kissing and riding off into the sunset, blah, blah----OHMYGOODNESSWHATJUSTHAPPENED?!

Instead, I caught the big fat curve ball Rebecca Serle lobbed right in the center of my feels.

I WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT!

I NEED MORE PAIGE, RAINER, AND JORDAN IN MY LIFE!

But for now, this will have to suffice I guess...

FAMOUS IN LOVE is fast, fun and thoroughly entertaining! Read it.

*For an added treat, check out LOCKED by Parker Witter. This is the story within the story of FAMOUS IN LOVE.
