If you've been keeping up, you'll know that I was at Book Expo of America last week.
What was it like to be among all those books and people?
Kind of like this...
I'm kidding.

After spending one life-changing day in Paris with laid-back Dutch actor Willem De Ruiter, sheltered American good girl Allyson “Lulu” Healey discovered her new lover had disappeared without a trace. Just One Day followed Allyson’s quest to reunite with Willem; Just One Year chronicled the pair’s year apart from Willem’s perspective. Now, back together at last, this delectable e-novella reveals the couple’s final chapter.
Just One Day gutted me, Just One Year annoyed me, both left me unfulfilled but Just One Night has fixed that.
A teeny tiny part of me wants to see what comes next but I know that in order for that to happen there would need to be more conflict, and honestly, Allyson and Willem have two whole books of conflict. Plus, I don't think my poor heart could withstand anymore problems between these two characters.
I do think that my overall reading experience would have been enhanced had Just One Night been included as an Epilogue or bonus content at the end of Just One Year, I AM happy to have this resolution because, IT'S ABOUT DAMN TIME! :D

A city in flames. A trust betrayed. A perfect love destroyed.
Has Aria lost Hunter, her one true love?
Ever since rebellion broke out in Mystic City, pitting the ruling elite against the magic-wielding mystics, Aria has barely seen her boyfriend. Not surprising, since Hunter is the leader of the mystic uprising, and he'll do whatever it takes to win freedom for his people—even if that means using Aria.
But Aria is no one's pawn. She believes she can bring the two warring sides together, save the city, and win back the Hunter she fell in love with.
Before she can play peacemaker, though, Aria will need to find the missing heart of a dead mystic. The heart gives untold powers to whoever possesses it, but finding it means seeking out a fierce enemy whose deepest desire is for Aria to be gone—forever.
I was in New York City last week, where this series is set and happened upon several of the places mentioned in the books this one.
Hunter and Aria were nowhere to be found which is probably good considering I wanted to strangle the both of them by the end of Toxic Heart. But seriously, I have waited a LONG time for this book and while there were a few happy swoony times, there were a lot more that were the opposite.
And then there was the friendship "thing" which...
But THAT ENDING?!
I am not happy. NOT HAPPY AT ALL! And now I have wait another year to find out if I get the happy ending I was SO LOOKING FORWARD TO in book one. I mean, that's the WHOLE reason I fell in love with that book in the first place.
