Requiem (Delirium #3) by Lauren Oliver
Publication: March 3, 2013
by: HarperTeen

Requiem (Delirium, #3)
From Goodreads:

Now an active member of the resistance, Lena has been transformed. The nascent rebellion that was under way in Pandemonium has ignited into an all-out revolution in Requiem, and Lena is at the center of the fight. Of Pandemonium, ALA Booklist noted that “like all successful second volumes, this expands the world and ups the stakes, setting us up for the big finale.”

After rescuing Julian from a death sentence, Lena and her friends fled to the Wilds. But the Wilds are no longer a safe haven—pockets of rebellion have opened throughout the country, and the government cannot deny the existence of Invalids. Regulators now infiltrate the borderlands to stamp out the rebels, and as Lena navigates the increasingly dangerous terrain, her best friend, Hana, lives a safe, loveless life in Portland as the fiancé of the young mayor. Requiem is told from both Lena’s and Hana’s points of view. The two girls live side by side in a world that divides them until, at last, their stories converge.

I have no doubt this book will gut me the way Delirium and Pandemonium did. *cries*  I'm looking forward to seeing how it all ends and especially how Lena handles her feelings for Julian with what transpired in the final pages of book 2. O_O

What's your W.O.W.?

  1. Hmmm, this is the first time I've read the blurb. Both Hana and Lena's POV? sounds torturous! Have you read the Hana short story?

  2. Yes, I have read it. :) I'm so torn between the you-know-who's I'm not sure how that will resolve itself. :/

  3. Can you even believe I still haven't read Delirium?! It's sitting on my bookshelf, staring at me, looking oh-so-interesting, and still I just can't seem to get to it. Ugh, I wish I could quit my job and just read all day instead. :)
