I always enjoy a Rick Riordan book but I'm not the only one in my house who does. Instead of hearing from me this time, I've asked my oldest son, Price, to share his thoughts.
A few things to know about Price... He's a voracious reader and if he
could, he'd probably spend all of his time with fictional characters. (But not book boys like his Mom.) He's super
smart (I can brag on him because he does not get this from me), he's
cute and he doesn't enjoy writing nearly as much as reading, unless
it's a Star Wars script, then he's all over that. ;)

The Serpent's Shadow is the third installment of
the Kane Chronicles. It is about a brother and a sister, Carter and Sadie Kane, who are Ancient Egyptian magicians. The book blends Egyptian Mythology with modern day events.

The god of Chaos, Apophis, is threatening to rise at any second. On top of that, rebel magicians from Russia are going to attack the House of Life, the First Nome's headquarters.
The Kane's go on lots of adventures in the third and final book in this series. I enjoyed it a lot. It was humorous and well written.
