Hello "Cupcake Boy"!

Look who showed up at my door today...  "Cupcake Boy" um, I mean Ash!  I was so excited when I opened the door and saw the mail lady coming but almost had a heart attack when I saw the way she just threw him to the ground.  Did she not KNOW she was handling a prized possession?!  (OK, so, she probably didn't.)  I know Ash is used to battle and all but I'm not!  Geesh!  I thought I might have to lob a cupcake at her or something.

Once I got him safely inside, unwrapped and saw that he hadn't suffered any injuries,  I celebrated his arrival with a chocolate chip cookie dough cupcake.  I then proceeded to show him off to any member of my family that would stand still for more than 5 seconds.  They nodded and smiled and Ash just stared back at them.  (I wasn't too surprised, I mean, staring IS his specialty.)  When my husband got home, I introduced him to Ash, but again, more staring, although I think it was more my husband staring at me to make sure I know that this IS just a book...  ;)

Thanks again to the very talented Julie Kagawa for writing "The Iron Fey" series and for hosting the "Day with Ash or Puck" contest that I was fortunate enough to win!  http://jenuinecupcakes.blogspot.com/2011/09/my-day-wash-contest-ice-prince-queen-of.html
