I'm really excited to be a part of Jennifer L. Armentrout's Deity Blog Tour! The third book in the Covenant Series comes out on November 6th and we're celebrating with a party, prizes, and several giveaways...

My Thoughts:

Deity (Covenant, #3) My Rating: LOVED.IT.SO.HARD.

"History is on repeat, and things didn't go so well the last time."

OhMygods...Jennifer L. Armentrout has done it again! I could not put this book down, even when it literally fell apart in my hands from the heat. (Seriously, the glue on the binding melted off and Chapter 25 fell out onto my lap.) My first thought was, "Wow, Aiden is too hot for the pages!" *winks*

Author Interview:

I've had the opportunity to interview Jennifer a couple of times this year and had the privilege of meeting her at this year's, Baltimore Book Festival.  She's really nice and fun to hang out with.

JC: When Deity opens, Alex has a cold which seems to surprise several people especially since she's a Half-Blood. Is there any significance to that (that you're able to share) or was it just a random thing?
JLA: Yes, there is a significance to that but it's kind of spoilery. Once you've read Deity, I think you'll understand why that happens.

JC: Seth and Aiden both change quite a bit before Deity book ends. Who do you think will be more surprised, the Team Seth or Team Aiden people?
JLA: I think the Team Aiden peeps will be most surprised as he is the one who goes through the most change in Deity. As for both of the guys, there's always been hints to what was coming.

JC: Does the gift Alex receives for her birthday have any extra meaning or the ability to help her in the future?
JLA: Why, yes, it will have a special meaning in Apollyon. =)

JC: Do you already know how The Covenant Series ends or are you still plotting that out?
JLA: I already know how it ends. Sniffles.

JC: What song best describes Alex in Deity?
JLA: Kanye West's Power.

JC: Thanks Jen!
JLA: Thank you!

About the Author:

USA TODAY Bestselling Author Jennifer L. Armentrout lives in West Virginia. All the rumors you've heard about her state aren't true. Well, mostly. When she's not hard at work writing, she spends her time reading, working out, watching zombie movies, and pretending to write. She shares her home with her husband, his K-9 partner named Diesel, and her hyper Jack Russell Loki. Her dreams of becoming an author started in algebra class, where she spent her time writing short stories...therefore explaining her dismal grades in math. Jennifer writes Adult and Young Adult Urban Fantasy and Romance. She is represented by Kevan Lyon of Marsal Lyon Literary Agency.
