2012 Books to Read

My goal for 2012 was to read 100 books and I met that goal but I may or may not have gone over by a smidge.

Here is a small sample of 2012 books I have LOVED so far this year!
Have you read these?  If not, tell Santa to shove 'em in your stocking.

(In no particular order, lest any book characters get their feels hurt.)

1. Insurgent (Divergent #2) - Veronica Roth

2. Such A Rush - Jennifer Echols

3. The Evolution of Mara Dyer (Mara Dyer #2) - Michelle Hodkin

4. Under The Never Sky - Veronica Rossi

5. False Memory (False Memory #1) - Dan Krokos

6. Shadow and Bone (The Grisha #1) - Leigh Bardugo

7. The Immortal Rules (Blood of Eden #1) - Julie Kagawa

8. Sweet Evil (Sweet Evil Trilogy #1) - Wendy Higgins

9. This is Not A Drill - Beck McDowell

10. Something Like Normal - Trish Doller

11. Timepiece (Hourglass #2) - Myra McEntire

12. The Lux Series & The Covenant Series - Jennifer L. Armentrout

14. Defiance - C.J. Redwine

15. Easy - Tammara Webber

16. Like Moonlight at Low Tide - Nicole Quigley

17. Catching Jordan & Stealing Parker - Miranda Kenneally (If you haven't met Sam Henry yet, I'm not sure how much longer we can be friends. Just kidding! Maybe. *winks*)

18. Send Me A Sign - Tiffany Schmidt

19. Ashen Winter (Ashfall #2) - Mike Mullin

20. Mystic City (Mystic City #1) - Theo Lawrence

21. Stormdancer (The Lotus Wars #1) - Jay Kristoff

22. Spark - Brigid Kemmerer (The whole Elemental Series is great!)

Why does my list only have 22 and not 25?  Because this is what rebellion looks like. \m/

Welcome to Jenuine Cupcakes Thank you Cuddlebuggery for organizing this Best Series Blog Hop! *cupcakes for everyone* I have quite a few series that I love but the one I chose to spotlight is The Sweet Series by Wendy Higgins.  Why? Because it's unique, entertaining and jammed packed full of awesome! Sweet Evil (Book 1) Author: Wendy Higgins Publication: May 1, 2012  Amazon | B&N  Embrace the Forbidden What if there were teens whose lives literally depended on being bad influences? "Clockwork Prince" (The Infernal Devices Book 2) ~ Cassandra Clare

Let's take a moment to drool over, I mean, appreciate the pretty cover, shall we? *sighs* Once again, Cassandra Clare has managed to suck me into her colorful story of adventure, intrigue, love, romance and excruciating heartbreak.  *clutches chest*  Normally, I blast through books in a few hours, but I purposely took my time with this one because I wanted to savor every minute with Will, Jem and Tessa but HOLY CUPCAKE!!  Could you find another way to rip my heart out, do a "stomp the yard" dance on it and throw it back at me with demon pox all over it?!  *clutches chest*  How anyone with a heart can NOT be "Team Will" after this book, I'll never understand but if they aren't, then I say, in the words of giddy Will, "A demonpox on all your houses!" OK, so that's a tad harsh but still. "Clockwork Prince" picks up right where "Clockwork Angel" leaves off, with Tessa still trying to discover who she is and what Mortma...
