Hi! Jen here again from Jenuine Cupcakes and those of us on #TeamPatch and #Patch'sArmy think our crush is completely Patchilicious!  He's always doing and saying things that make us croon, OMP! (OhMyPatch!) so without further ado, I give you...

8 Crushworthy Reasons to Vote For Patch!

1. Good looks - Everyone's first impression of a crush is their appearance and Patch is tall, dark, lean and hard. (Psst - see the picture?)  He's rough and roguish with a hard-edged sexiness to him. He has some pretty "interesting" marks and he also has a great head of hair which Nora tells us can be useful...
"I curled my hands into his hair, pulling him closer."

2. Swagga - No one on the corner has swagga like Patch. When he walks into a room, people take notice. Whether it's his disarming honesty or his snarkilicious attitude, Patch can make even the most stubborn of girls turn 50 shades of red.
"Biggest dream?ā€ I was proud of this one because I knew it would stump him. It required forethought.
ā€œKiss you.ā€
ā€œThatā€™s not funny,ā€ I said, holding his eyes, grateful I didnā€™t stutter.
ā€œNo, but it made you blush.ā€

3. Personality - A guy that can make you laugh is a MUST for a good crush. Patch has a witty sense of humor and the ability to turn any situation into an innuendo which is quite humorous. ā€œIā€™m going to grab a cheeseburger,ā€ I told Patch. ā€œWant anything?ā€
ā€œNothing on the menu.ā€

I decided to look up the definition of "innuendo" in the dictionary and look whose picture I found? IKR?!  He's even wiping a smirk off of that crushworthy mouth of his. (Once you finish staring at his lips, move on down to #4. Take your time. We'll wait.)

Webster's Dictionary Page

http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m6g4hhW73m1r0yv48o9_250.gifinnuendo: noun

1 a: an oblique allusion :hint, insinuation; especially: a veiled or equivocal reflection on character or reputation

inĀ·sinĀ·uĀ·aĀ·tion: noun
: something that is insinuated; especially : a sly, subtle, and usually derogatory utterance

4. Hint of danger - You have to admit, there is something about a guy who exudes danger, even just a little bit like being from the wrong side of the angelic tracks. Patch is all kinds of wrong but in all the right ways. He'll tell you himself, ā€œI'm not good, "but I was worse.ā€ and...ā€œIf I'd wanted you dead five minutes ago, you'd have died five minutes ago.ā€

5. Getting around - Every crush needs a cool way to travel and while chivalry is nice, who needs a knight in shining armor when you can have a guardian angel in tight black jeans on a motorcycle?  Better yet, a guy who can fly? (And with Patch there's no waiting in pesky airport security lines.)

6. Special Talents - Cooking, Creative nicknames and kissing. We all need to eat and who doesn't love a guy who can cook?  (Patch's specialty is tacos. *winks*) He's also quite creative when it comes to pet names for the girl he loves.
ā€œYou're mine, Angel," he murmured... "You have me forever.ā€

And Nora can attest to his kissing talents... "Anyone ever tell you you're an incredible kisser?"

7. Reliability - He's always there when you need him and who better to protect you than a Guardian Angel?
"Iā€™m your guardian angel,ā€ he said.
"What, exactly, is your job description?ā€
ā€œGuard your body.ā€ His smile tipped higher. ā€œI take my job seriously, which means Iā€™m going to need to get acquainted with the subject matter on a personal level.ā€

 Patch is no pushover though...
ā€œI didnā€™t break his jaw, but if he lays a hand on you, it will be the first of many things to break,ā€

8. Romance - This is the MOST crucial when it comes to a crush and Patch is full of romantical prose.
ā€œI love you,Nora. Whatever happens, promise me you'll remember that. I don't care why you came into my life, only that you did. I don't remember all the things I did wrong. I remember what I did right, I remember you. You made my life meaningful. You made my life special.ā€  *sighs* If that doesn't make you say, "OMP!" I don't know what will!

9. I know, I know, I said there were only "8" but Patch insists on having the last word. He says that no one is the boss of him (except maybe Nora) so if he wants to add a ninth then he will. Patch says,

"Vote for Patch. I mean it. Vote for me." *winks*

"Clockwork Prince" (The Infernal Devices Book 2) ~ Cassandra Clare

Let's take a moment to drool over, I mean, appreciate the pretty cover, shall we? *sighs* Once again, Cassandra Clare has managed to suck me into her colorful story of adventure, intrigue, love, romance and excruciating heartbreak.  *clutches chest*  Normally, I blast through books in a few hours, but I purposely took my time with this one because I wanted to savor every minute with Will, Jem and Tessa but HOLY CUPCAKE!!  Could you find another way to rip my heart out, do a "stomp the yard" dance on it and throw it back at me with demon pox all over it?!  *clutches chest*  How anyone with a heart can NOT be "Team Will" after this book, I'll never understand but if they aren't, then I say, in the words of giddy Will, "A demonpox on all your houses!" OK, so that's a tad harsh but still. "Clockwork Prince" picks up right where "Clockwork Angel" leaves off, with Tessa still trying to discover who she is and what Mortma...
