Waiting on Wednesday
"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

Rebel Heart (Dust Lands #2) by Moira Young
by: Margaret K. McElderry
Expected Publication: October 30, 2012

From Goodreads:

The Tonton have been defeated. Lugh has been rescued.
The heartstone has brought Saba and Jack together.
Now, Saba and her family head west to meet him and start a new life. All should be well.
But shadows of the dead are stalking Saba.
And another kind of shadow is creeping over the dustlands.
Then a messenger shows up.
With news of Jack.

"Blood Red Road" (Dust Lands #1) was a surprisingly good read for me! If you haven't read it yet, you should definitely check it out - Saba gives Katniss a run for her money and I LOVE Katniss! To read my review, click here.

I'm excited to see that this cover has Jack on it because, well, he is made of AWESOME!  I'm curious to find out if we'll hear from his POV but even if we don't I've no doubt this next installment will be just as fierce as the first one was.

  4. Sounds like a rugged story - haven't read the previous book but it comes across as a post-apocalyptic sci-fi/fantasy...the summary gives an indication this should be a pretty fun read.
