More Four!

Fans of the Divergent series by #1 New York Times bestselling author Veronica Roth will be thrilled by "The Transfer," the first of four new short stories told from Fourā€™s perspective. Each brief story explores the world of the Divergent series through the eyes of the mysterious but charismatic Tobias Eaton, revealing previously unknown facets of his personality, backstory, and relationships

If I didn't already LURVE ME SOME TOBIAS EATON, THE TRANSFER would have sealed the deal for me!

What I Loved: Everything you ever wanted to know about how FOUR ended up at the Dauntless compound and who gave him his name. This is a short read, topping out at 30 pages but is the first in a series of four novellas set to roll out over the next few months. Four in total and all from FOUR's POV. I AM READY!

We got a glimpse of FOUR's backstory in DIVERGENT when he leads Tris through his own fearscape, but it is an entirely different (and at times, heartbreaking) experience to see it through his eyes.  Can I just say, Marcus Eaton better be glad it was Tris he ran into in the books and not me, FOR REASONS. (Being allowed to live to see another day, reasons.)

What Left Me Wanting More:
GIVE ME ALL THE FOUR NOW PLEASE!

Final Verdict:
FOURIFIC addition to the DIVERGENT Trilogy.

"Clockwork Prince" (The Infernal Devices Book 2) ~ Cassandra Clare

Let's take a moment to drool over, I mean, appreciate the pretty cover, shall we? *sighs* Once again, Cassandra Clare has managed to suck me into her colorful story of adventure, intrigue, love, romance and excruciating heartbreak.  *clutches chest*  Normally, I blast through books in a few hours, but I purposely took my time with this one because I wanted to savor every minute with Will, Jem and Tessa but HOLY CUPCAKE!!  Could you find another way to rip my heart out, do a "stomp the yard" dance on it and throw it back at me with demon pox all over it?!  *clutches chest*  How anyone with a heart can NOT be "Team Will" after this book, I'll never understand but if they aren't, then I say, in the words of giddy Will, "A demonpox on all your houses!" OK, so that's a tad harsh but still. "Clockwork Prince" picks up right where "Clockwork Angel" leaves off, with Tessa still trying to discover who she is and what Mortma...
