4th Annual Holiday #READATHON

Fourth Annual Holiday #READATHON
Sponsored by the amazing Liza Wiemer from WhoRuBlog
 Starts today!

Mini-challenge: 2013 has seen a lot of final books. (last books in a series) Sometimes these series' end the way we hope and other times, not so much. If you could rewrite any 2013 final book ending, which book would it be and why?

2013 Final Books that hit the mark for me: Shades of Earth, Sentinel, In the Age of Love and Chocolate, Unbreakable, Shutdown, A Desire So Deadly, Here Without You, Time After Time,

2013 Final books that fell short: Others that didn't live up to the hype for me? Rise, Requiem, Reached, Sever, and Consume. But if I could rewrite any ending, it would be Allegiant's.

*I had originally planned to write a fanfic ending to ALLEGIANT here, but then life happened and I had to devote my time and brain cells to that, so I apologize.  BUT I would still love to know what books you would change and why. And of course, there's still the giveaway!

  2. Favorite finale book this year? Daybreakers! Biggest disappointment? Dead Ever After. Odd that they are both came books... I don't read those all that often.

  9. My favorite final book would probably be "Reached". And yet the one I would re-write would be "Reached as well. I felt she hit high and low points in the book if you know what I mean. Thanks for the giveaway!

  10. Best ending in my opinion would be Champion by Marie Lu OR Horde by Ann Aguirre. Sorry - I had to pick both! :)

  11. umm haven't gotten to many of the last books in a series, so for now, I'd say "The Bitter Kingdom"

  12. My favorite is Clockwork Princess. I know there were a lot of people that didn't like the ending but I actually loved it. I didn't like the ending of Requiem or Allegiant. Requiem, I felt was unfinished. I really wanted to know more about what happened to the characters and with Allegiant I just didn't feel any real emotions with it (and with the way it ended that's a definite problem)

  13. The Goddess Inheritance- love mythology

  14. Oh, the Readathon! It’s always cool to see bloggers who share the same interest come together, even if not physically. That element actually makes online contests more thrilling. A downside to it though is that you can’t always make sure if which contest is genuine and not a scam. That said, it’s better to just stick with your circle. How’s it going? Lucius@Skild®
