#PubCrawl 2013: Aspiring Authors Q&A

Who: Me and Hannah from The Irish Banana (She'll be covering the Blogger side of things)

What: Pub Crawl 2013 (#PubCrawl2013)

Where: New York City Publishing Houses

When: Thursday, October 17, 2013 - ALL.DAY.LONG! (Seriously, it will be dark when we leave and dark when we get home again.)

Why: My birthday was last week and this is what I wanted to do to celebrate. Aside from eating cake, of course, which I did. PLUS, as a reader and an aspiring author, I'm curious about the behind the scenes of the publishing world, the brick and mortar, the cubicles and the post-it notes.

The seed for this idea was really planted waaaay back at BEA2013 during the Harlequin Teen breakfast when I met Executive Editor, Nataysha Wilson and she was like, "Let me know if you're ever in NYC, we'd love to have you stop by."

So, a few weeks later when Hannah and I were having dinner at Panera to discuss CampNaNo-ish things, I was like, "We should see if we can bounce around to the different publishers and ask them questions and stuff. It could be like a pub crawl but without the hangover the next day." And because Hannah gets me, she really, really gets me, she was like, "I'm on it!" And she was.

Here's how you can #PubCrawl2013 with us:
